Make sure you know how to read kalimba sheet music

Before you dive into any sheet music, make sure you know how to read it. Trying to play a melody without understanding the notation can be frustrating. So take a moment to review our guide to reading kalimba sheet music. Everything is explained clearly, and you’ll be able to decipher any music documents you’re given. This will increase your chances of success as you learn new melodies.

If you’ve never tuned your instrument or it’s been a while, we recommend checking your kalimba’s tuning before you begin. If your thumb piano is out of tune, the notes you play won’t match what’s on the page, and the final result won’t be what you’re hoping for.

What is the band Imagine Dragons?

Formed in 2008 in the United States, Imagine Dragons now comprises four members: Dan Reynolds, Ben McKee, Wayne Sermon, and Daniel Platzman. Their music is mainly classified as pop rock, electropop, and alternative rock.

Imagine Dragons first made a name for themselves locally around Las Vegas, Nevada, playing regularly in casinos at night. After some early momentum, the band really took off with their 2011 release "It's Time." In September 2012, their debut album "Night Visions" built on that success, bringing them international recognition. The song "Demons" appears on this album. Since then, Imagine Dragons’ success has only grown, with their first Grammy Award win in 2014 and the subsequent release of four more albums featuring hits like "Radioactive" and "Believer," totalling more than 2 billion views on YouTube.

Who is the singer of Demons?

The singer of the song Demons by Imagine Dragons is Dan Reynolds. He began his musical career while studying at a university in Utah, where he formed Imagine Dragons and won a university music competition. He has spent the vast majority of his career with the band, although he also released a duet with his wife as part of a project called "Egyptian" in 2010.

The song Demons is dedicated to the Tyler Robinson Foundation, named after a teenage fan who met the band at a concert in 2011 and passed away in 2013 at the age of 17 from cancer, after a period of remission. The story deeply moved Dan Reynolds, and “Demons” was dedicated to him. At the end of the official music video, you can also see a call for donations to the Tyler Robinson Foundation, along with images of Tyler at an earlier Imagine Dragons concert.
