Who composed the music for Interstellar?
All of the music for the film Interstellar was composed by Hans Zimmer. He is best known for writing music for films, television series, animated movies, and video games. Currently considered one of the greatest composers of his generation, Hans Zimmer began learning piano at the age of 3 as a self-taught musician. When his father died, when he was only 6 years old, he found refuge in music and kept going, eventually joining the band "The Buggles" in the 1970s. In the 1980s, he moved into film scoring, and his work quickly found success. Beyond Interstellar, he also composed the soundtracks for Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception, Dunkirk, and many other feature films.
The melody for Interstellar was the result of close collaboration between Hans Zimmer and director Christopher Nolan. Nolan didn’t reveal the plot of the film to the composer, but simply provided him with a text, asking Zimmer to rely on it alone for the composition of the music.

What is the story of the film Interstellar?
Set in the near future, the film shows Earth becoming increasingly uninhabitable due to a severe food crisis. The outlook is grim, and many fear that all life could soon vanish. The story revolves around Joseph Cooper, played by actor Matthew McConaughey, a former NASA astronaut who has retrained as a farmer. He lives with his daughter Murphy, who is convinced that a ghost is trying to communicate with her. One day, a strange event occurs that leads Cooper to believe that this ghost exists and is trying to give him coordinates to a specific location on the planet.
When they go to the location, Cooper and Murphy discover a secret government base. They learn that life on Earth will soon disappear, but that a strange wormhole in space near Saturn has been discovered. It appears that this wormhole was created artificially, and scientists believe that the only chance of survival for humans would be to use it to travel quickly through the galaxy and try to find another habitable planet. Cooper is then chosen to carry out this mission. We won’t reveal any more of the plot so that you can enjoy watching this interesting film for yourself.
