Our origins

Instruments du Monde is a dynamic, 100% French company founded in 2021. Its headquarters are located in Paris.

“Instruments du Monde” literally means “instruments of the world” in French. That is why our online store specializes in selling exotic and traditional musical instruments from every continent. Given the success of our business in France, we now operate in several countries around the world to offer our services.

"Since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about music and unusual instruments from cultures all around the world.

Even though I also love more traditional instruments, such as the piano, I’ve always struggled to find high-quality traditional and ethnic instruments.

That’s why I decided to open this one-of-a-kind store."
