Can I play all the songs with my tongue drum?
The 8- and 11-note tongue drum sheet music book includes 25 songs for 8-note tongue drums and 25 more for 11-note models. The same goes for the 13- and 15-note tongue drum book, with 25 songs for 13-note instruments and 25 more for 15-note tongue drums. However, every song can be played perfectly on a tongue drum with more notes than the score requires.
For example, if you have an 11-note tongue drum, you can play all the arrangements written for 11-note models (25 songs), plus all those written for 8-note models, for a total of 50 different melodies. If you have a 15-note tongue drum, you’ll be able to play all 100 songs contained in these two books!

Do you recommend a particular model of instrument to go with these books?
The sheet music is designed to be played on tongue drums tuned to C major, D major, and F major. Therefore, we recommend purchasing this 15-note model to play all 100 songs, or this 11-note model to play the 50 melodies in the first book.
If you have a differently tuned model, the songs will still be playable, but you may feel they sound slightly different. However, this book is not suitable for the rare pentatonic tongue drums.
