Get a solid wood musical instrument that cares about the environment

Many low-quality sanzas (another name for the kalimba) are made from reconstituted wood. This process involves compressing sawdust and binding it together with chemical glues that can be hazardous to your health. At Instruments du Monde, all our wooden sanzas are crafted from raw, solid materials. The result is a better-looking instrument and, more importantly, a build that avoids harmful compounds during production.

Master countless songs with ease

Want to play beautiful pieces on a musical instrument as quickly as possible? Then choose the sanza. Everything about this instrument has been designed to keep you motivated as you learn. Each tine corresponds to a single note, and the sheet music clearly shows you exactly when to pluck it. No need to read complex music notation. You’ll play with ease—and with accurate notes—right away.

Enjoy the vibrations of the thumb piano to improve your physical and mental well-being

Recent scientific studies are clear on this: music can have an extraordinarily positive effect on the human brain. It stimulates nerve cells, helping to rejuvenate them, and can offer meaningful therapeutic benefits. The thumb piano’s harmonious, pure tones further enhance its soothing effect on the player. With an instrument like this in hand, you’ll naturally enjoy the full range of benefits music has to offer.
